Improvisation Workshop Class Instructor, Lillian Frances

Lillian Frances discovered improvisational theater as an undergrad at Northwestern University and has never looked back. She has performed, directed, and taught improvisation for the past ten years in Chicago and elsewhere. Favorites include three plus years with the ImprovOlympic house teams Frank Booth and JANE, Close Quarters at the Second City e.t.c., and Calendar Girls, an original two-woman, improvised show. Lillie's passion for improvisation took her all the way to Amsterdam, where she assistant directed and performed in Boom Chicago, and also to Newport, Rhode Island, where she founded, directed, and performed in Chicago Comedy Company. She is currently directing a Second City National Touring Company, and enjoys working with the all women’s improv groups RED and Sirens, as well as the writing group 8 Oz. Bette.
