Based on the life and work of Wisconsin poetess, Lorine Niedecker (1903 - 1970), this is
the gentle story of a woman of simplicity and integrity. Niedecker explores the heart of a
woman who wants to share the life-giving intimacy of marriage, the soul of the artist, and
whose satisfaction and self-worth lie primarily in her work.
